Artist, musician, comedian and actor, Bill Bailey hosts as 9 Junior Crafters, who specialise in three distinct heritage crafts, giving them the opportunity of a lifetime to expand on their skills by taking part in bespoke masterclasses in their chosen field. Each masterclass is presented by an industry leading Master Crafter who gives them the opportunity to create a piece of work under their watchful eye, whilst consolidating and learning new and invaluable skills. The endangered crafts of silver smithing led by Ndidi Ekubia (MBE), wood carving led by Clunie Fretton and stain glass designing with the imitable John Reyntiens, are put centre stage. The series finale builds as all the juniors are commissioned as a group to create an heirloom piece, which will be presented to sit within the gardens of the summer residence of HM The King, Highgrove House.
